Perched overlooking Gun Point Cove, Sanctuary boasts stunning westerly views from a beautifully built Post & Beam style home in a private, wooded setting, perfect for your family vacation. The grounds are meticulously maintained with a lush lawn for children to play and a stone path to the dock and waterside deck, a perfect place for the whole family to gather!
When you walk through the door, you will find a beautiful kitchen with everything you need to make a wonderful home-cooked Maine meal, a dining room with a propane fireplace that opens to an elevated deck overlooking the ocean, a perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee or tea, a living room with comfortable seating and a fireplace, a great sitting area to enjoy a good book, and a ground level family room with a TV and a new full bathroom with shower that opens to a path to the water. Upstairs on the second level, you will find the master bedroom with a full bathroom and plenty of closet space, another bedroom with closets, a third bedroom, and a shared full bathroom. On the third level, there are two small bedrooms. The ground floor, formerly offering a game room has been transformed into a 6th bedroom with queen bed and direct access to a full bathroom! You'll love all of the great places to gather, as well as the many quiet spaces to relax.
On a perfect Maine summer day, you'll find yourself sitting on the waterside deck enjoying your favorite drink, basking in the warm sunshine, and swimming from the dock to explore all of the wonders of the coast of Maine! Sanctuary is located at the end of the road, so you will enjoy the peace and quiet and great morning and afternoon walks, while being just 15 minutes from all the amenities of Brunswick and the Harpswell Islands, offering many local restaurants, shops, and beaches.

Sanctuary is a delightful place to stay for a week- quiet, great for a family gathering, well furnished and the kitchen incredibly equipped! We enjoyed swimming, kayaking, games, exploring and general relaxation with loved ones.

This was an ideal sot for us to take a week off from city life. Our sons and their partners came for a few nights. Everyone felt comfortable and restored. Sanctuary is set in a quiet, well sighted location, well away from any bustle. Home is immaculate an well-equipped. Just perfect.

This house was perfect for our family of 6 adults and 3 kids. The kitchen was perfectly equipped there were toys for outside and games for inside. Eveyone had space to hang out together or to get privacy. Nice balcony. Beautiful views. Beautiful piece of land. We will definitely be back.

Sanctuary is the perfect house for a family vacation. There are so many spaces for togetherness and also for getting away from the group for a little peace and quiet. The waterfront is perfect and can accommodate the group. There are activities for everyone nearby- hiking, walks, beaches. The sunsets are dazzling.

Sanctuary is a beautiful property and the house is gorgeous and well appointed. We rented 2 ocean kayaks and they were used constantly to enjoy the scenery and the seals. We were lucky enough to see a bald head eagle every day so that was special. If you are looking for a wonderful home in Maine, this is it.

Sanctuary is a beautiful and comfortable home in a private and peaceful shore location. My family loved it.
We loved our time at this house in Harpswell! The views were amazing and the dock was perfect for swimming and hanging out! We happened to be there on a very hot week so not having Air Conditioning was a little tough for us BUT the house was equipped with many fans to keep us comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked and had everything we needed for a family lobster bake. Thanks for a great stay!
