Island Time

Nicely updated old New England home. Spent most of our stay on the porches, spectacular grounds and view. Lots of things to do within an hour.

Our family enjoyed our 2nd stay at Island Time and already looking ahead to next year! The amazing water views from just about every single room are beautiful! The sprawling lawn & lovely landscaping offer such beauty topping off the total experience. The house is very spacious and so nicely decorated . We rented kayaks from Seaspray Kayaks , swam in the pool, used the grill for many of our meals (kitchen is well stocked w/all pots , pans & utensils needed). Just a super home & can’t wait to return! Thank you Island Time!

The house was gigantic and incredibly well-appointed with a 240 degree view of the Casco Bay. So many indoor and outdoor sitting spaces including a sunroom built into the kitchen. Porch time was everyone's favorite and we absolutely saw the lobstermen/person checking their traps right in front. Kayaking off the dock was incredible. Because the house is so large, the space works best for a multigenerational family that wants a combination of together time and privacy. We celebrated my mother's 80th birthday and it was a time for all to remember. In addition to raving about the property, I cannot say enough good things about Marcy and Darcie from MaineStay vacations. They provide clear instructions, are incredibly responsive, and yet relaxed and generous. It helps that they are local and know all of the best local businesses and spots. Much better than VRBO or AirBNB!

Our 4 th year renting with Maine Stay. Darcie and Marcie work hard to address all concerns and are a pleasure to work with. We met Chris this year who helped us with an emergency asap and was also a pleasure. We expect to rent again the same week next year.

Our family of 7 plus a young baby had the most wonderful time visiting Island Time in Harpswell. From morning coffees to evening happy hours, the wraparound deck provided the most relaxing venue. We had plenty of fun kayaking, exploring the grounds, taking a dip in the pool, and enjoying family time together in the most gorgeous setting. House was clean with everything we needed for cooking in and making the most of our stay. We look forward to returning next year!

Our family vacation at Island Time was relaxing and restful. We are a family of seven adults and two young children under five, and we had plenty of space. The beautiful grounds include a pool, a dock, sprawling lawns and perennial gardens which overlook the water. The porch gave us plenty of room to enjoy morning coffee and afternoon drinks. The lawns provided ample space for several games. We kayaked and paddle boarded from the dock. The adult children noted this was one of their favorite vacations, and the grandchildren didn't want to leave the pool. We hope to return to this special place next year.

We had a wonderful stay at Island Time. Marcie and the staff at MaineStay were beyond helpful and welcoming. The property is spectacular - one of the rare times that the reality surpasses the expectations created by the amazing photos. Our family was over the moon upon arrival and had a lovely, relaxing vacation. Can't recommend this beautiful, charming home enough!

Beautiful grounds, awesome views, very clean, well equipped and lovely home with antique furnishings. We all had a very relaxing stay. Fishing, crabbing, kayaking and swimming in pool. Loved it! MaineStay staff is wonderful! Thanks to the homeowner for sharing his home with us!

This is a wonderful place for the entire family to gather and create memories together! From listening to the lobster boats pulling traps early in the morning--as you sit sipping coffee on the porch looking out over the water to seeing bald eagles land in the massive oak--as you float effortlessly in the heated pool--this place has it all! Our stay left us want more--so we are coming back for two weeks next time!

This home exceeded our expectations. The views from every window were spectacular. The property was very private and large and enabled our 10 family members to have both room to be together and have personal quiet space. We spent most of our time on the beautiful wrap-around porch, kayaking and swimming in the pool. The location was perfect for day trips to Portland for whale watching, Freeport for shopping and the beautiful Botanical Gardens in Booth Bay. This property provided our family with an amazing vacation setting. We hope to return next summer.
