The Bailey Island Condo

Great place. Clean as a whistle. Fabulous view. I wish the no smoking policy included the decks since we had to close our window and door when neighbor smoked. The kitchen had everything we needed.

We had a wonderful time at the Bailey Island Condo! It was gorgeous, clean, convenient, and relaxing. We enjoyed the views, the help from the hosts, and the lovely people on the island. Favorites were the Giant's Stairs, lobster dinner and view at Dolphin Marina & Restaurant, scones at the Salt Cod Cafe, and the arboretum at Booth Bay. We didn't take it, but we heard the Bailey Island lobster boat trip is fantastic! Great trip, you won't regret it!

This is a charming condo with peaceful views of Mackeral Cove. The kitchen is well appointed. The condo had everything we would need just as if we were at home. We booked last minute but Mainestay was so easy and friendly to work with. One day into our stay and I was already asking when booking for next fall opened. Lovely place!

We stayed at this location for 4 nights and absolutely loved the place and location. Short walking distance to Giant Stairs trail, locals were friendly and the scenery was beautiful. Perfect place for the 2 of us and would definitely like to come back and stay here again in a future trip back to Maine!

This is a comfortable and attractive condo for one or two people. It is relatively new so all furnishings etc are it great condition. I stayed alone and really used it more as a hotel room than a cottage so can’t really comment much regarding the cooking facilities.. The view is lovely and mostly very quiet. I loved hearing the fishing boats coming and going and coffee on the balcony in the early morning was one of my favourite experiences at the condo. It is located in a favourite part of the area but is over an hour to my favourite beaches, Popham and Reid State Park. Despite that I would book the condo again and I would definitely prefer staying at the condo to staying at a hotel.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Bailey Island condo! It was exactly as pictured on line. The check in and communication was very easy, the condo was absolutely spotless and located in a wonderful location with a wonderful view of the cove. I would absolutely recommend this vacation rental and will also look to MaineStay Vacation rentals in the future for our Maine vacation needs.

Awesome Experience

An immaculate and comfortable condo with a classic Maine location — Mackerel Cove. There’s loads to see and eat in the beautiful mid-coast area.

Fantastic view, and cozy. Sitting out on the deck with coffee was surreal! The condo and Bailey Island were extremely charming.

We enjoyed the peacefulness and true nature existing on Bailey Island.

This little condo in Bailey Island was great and we would definitely visit again. It’s beautifully decorated with two decks that provide a really wonderful view of Mackeral Cove. A really peaceful location if you’re looking for a little quiet time to rest and recover.

Beautiful quiet condo with a lovely view. It has all the things we needed and then some. Great location. For out door activities and not too far from Portland and beach areas. We really enjoyed our stay.

Go to Glen’s and get some fresh lobsters! The kitchen has everything you need. Watching the boats was super neat! Great location. Everything was fully stocked.

The condo was just as beautiful as the view, which cannot be beat! Waking up to the sound of boats and wildlife was just what we needed to relax and enjoy the holiday. The place has everything you’ll need to cook and wonderful recommendation from the thoughtful neighbors when you don’t want to. Thank you, we can’t wait to come back!
